Children’s Social Worker, Missing Co-ordinator, West LondonÂ
Pay rate to £41.10 per hourÂ

Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Children’s Social Worker in West LondonÂ
This is a specialist role focused on children and young people who go missing, particularly where this overlaps with harm outside the home (e.g. exploitation, peer harm, serious youth violence).Â
Â
Key responsibilities:Â
Â
- Providing expert advice and guidance to social workers and multi‑agency partners in relation to missing children and harm outside the homeÂ
- Chairing and contributing to multi‑agency strategy meetingsÂ
- Supporting teams to manage risk, improve recording, and ensure timely completion of statutory processes (including return home conversations)Â
- Monitoring and analysing missing episodes and identifying patterns and themesÂ
- Reporting to senior forums and contributing to service developmentÂ
- Building strong working relationships across Children’s Services, police and wider partnersÂ
- Supporting training and awareness across the workforceÂ
- With support, leading Ealing’s Return Home Conversation ChampionsÂ

About you:Â
Â
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registrationÂ
- Strong experience of safeguarding adolescents and complex child protection workÂ
- Confident in chairing meetings and influencing multi‑agency decision makingÂ
- Able to analyse risk, use data, and contribute to strategic thinkingÂ
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skillsÂ
Â
This is a varied role combining operational, strategic and advisory responsibilities, and would suit someone with strong experience of adolescent safeguarding or working with harm outside the home.Â
